This classic bench stone has the highest available density and as a result is the rarest of all Arkansas stones – with maximum density for particularly demanding users and extremely sharp edges. Approximately corresponds to 8000 to 10,000 grit. The 6″ Bench Stone Translucent Arkansas is sized at 152 x 50.8 x 12.7 mm, and is also half an inch thick. Supplied in a practical wooden box.Please note that “translucent” does not necessarily describes the look of the stone, but is the name of this quality class/category. Oilstones in the translucent category can be even solid white or light grey, with the same high class quality like stones which are in fact slightly translucent.
