The Boker Black Wood Scale Tang is a classic razor with an extremely modern appearance. The handle is made of hand-picked local olive wood with a vivid grain and forms a strong contrast to the so-called Scale Tang made of dark Ziricote wood. To achieve this, two thin scales are applied to the tapered tang and then adapted to the tang by hand using different abrasive belts until a seamless and elegantly smooth transition is achieved.
