The home of the world-famous Laguiole knives is in Thiers, a small town in the Auvergne region of France that has been famous for its cutlery for 500 years. Originally inspired by folding knives from Andalusia, the elegant knives with the famous bee, the Napoleonic heraldic animal, have been produced there in a wide variety of designs for generations.
