The impressive Boker Laguna Damascus Chef’s Knife is literally a piece of living history. The 180-layer Damascus was forged by Chad Nichols from a massive part of the shaft of an old transmission wheel of our Manufactory. In the next step, the forged splitting piece is further processed in our drop forge in Solingen. After being heated there to red heat, it is shaped into a massive form by a two-tonne ram. The handle of this extraordinary Chef’s Knife in the classic Solingen three-rivet design is in no way inferior to the blade in terms of appearance and function. The breath-taking depth effect is reminiscent of a paradisiacal lagoon and is created by combining native poplar wood with blue resin. The Chef’s Knife, limited to 20 pieces worldwide, is delivered with an individual serial number in a leather-covered gift box and with a certificate of authenticity. It has a slightly wider and longer blade than the Utility Knife. The slim tip is also suitable for cutting onions or small vegetables. Thanks to its length it can also be used as a meat knife.
