With the Mettämies Bushcraft Axe, Karesuando offers a modified version of the hugely popular Unna Aksu, which has been specially optimized for bushcrafters. The handle is made of red beech wood, which has a very high strength and also tolerates shock even better during chopping. The handle is hewn by hand and offers a secure grip. In addition, it is protected by bound reindeer leather. The black lacquered axe head, made of high-quality  5Cr15MoV and hardened to 56 HRC, has a modified grind, which is also primarily designed for chopping. The brown leather sheath protects the stainless axe head during transport. The handle butt made of elk bone skillfully rounds off the robust Bushcraft axe.
