The Protecteur is the official knife of the French Army Air Force ALAT (Aviation Légère Armée Terre) and is used in particular by the crew of French combat helicopters. Philippe Perotti made the first sketches for this dagger, which is equipped with a symmetrical double-edged blade. A smooth grind and serrated edge provide maximum flexibility whenever it matters. The sharp and penetrating blade made of MOX is designed to allow a pilot to quickly free himself in an emergency situation straps or ropes are thus reliably cut. The non-slip handle made of lightweight PA6 polyamide is equipped with a hand guard and a catch strap eyelet for optimal carrying comfort. Supplied with custom-fit Kydex sheath.
