The impressive Boker River Damascus Chef knife is literally a piece of living history, because the 180-layer damascus was forged by Chad Nichols from a massive part of the shaft of an old transmission wheel of our manufactory. In the next step, the forged cropped piece is further processed in our drop forge in Solingen. After it has been heated there to red heat, it is shaped into a massive form by a two-tonne ram. The handle of this extraordinary chef’s knife in the classic Solingen three-rivet design is in no way inferior to the blade in terms of appearance and function. The breathtaking depth effect is reminiscent of a mystical river and is created by combining certified imported amboina wood with red resin. The chef’s knife, limited to only 39 pieces worldwide, is delivered with an individual serial number in a leather-covered gift box and with a certificate of authenticity.
