Like the popular Terrasaur knife, this machete is designed to score with maximum reliability. The edge of the 1075 carbon steel blade is designed to have a harder grind near the tip, where stone chips can occur, and transitions to a different grind near the handle for controlled carving. The blade has a black coating to protect it from corrosion. The machete has an extended pommel and comes with a custom-fit plastic sheath.
